Labour Cost Index (YoY)

The Labour Cost Index (LCI), released by Statistics New Zealand, measures changes in salary and wage rates on a year-on-year basis for a fixed quantity and quality of labor input. Service increments, merit promotions, and increases (or decreases) relating to performance of the individual employee are not shown in the index.
